Développement, modélisation et optimisation d’un système réfléchissant à lames orientables

Abstract : This doctoral thesis can be induced by the conceptualization and finalization of a solar hybrid energy system in order to respond to a permanent request from the International Humanitarian Aid System to take the necessary coordinating emergency actions. To deal with this problem, the research work carried out at the University of Corsica proposes to invest an innovative solution by using an autonomous PV / TH hybrid concentrating solar system, called the Orientable Blades Reflective System (SRLO). By extension, this hybrid autonomous system can be easily installed in differents situations where heat and power are required. Based on an initial promising first study, we propose to improve and optimize its efficiency by adapting a number of additional functions related to technological progress in the field of solar and electrical energy engineering. This unique capability gives greater flexibility to address broad field-distribution requirements of energy secure systems with this specific need for heat greater than 100◦C electrical energy. This scientific research program will focus on the conceptualization of a concentrated hybrid solar system integrating a diagnosis and an intelligent energy-management services recommendation. This system adopts mirrors which allow the concentration of solar radiation, linear boilers, photovoltaic modules and electrical and thermal storages for optimal utilization. A physical model and experimental validations have been undertaken in order to optimize the energy transfers of the system allowing easier large scale technological transfer and increased use of solar systems. The simulations based on physical models allow to know the importance and the sensitivity of the different parameters and various recommendations for optimal utilization. The study of the energy potential of the system improves system’s energy performance with different modes (electrical and / or thermal). Finally, a life cycle analysis study is developed. Thanks to this method, it is possible to calculate the environmental impacts of a product at each stage of production. This research is important because it allows us to develop an argument based on credible argument in order to design a system as ecological as possible and to facilitate its technology transfer.
