Stabilité dynamique des systèmes électriques multimachines : modélisation, commande, observation et simulation

Abstract : This thesis is a work of modeling, control, observation and simulation of electrical multimachine power systems. The new aspect is found in the use of stat observer with control to improve electrical multimachine power system behaviour. This subject is a current and interesting especially with the development of distribution networks. New sources, particularly wind generators, located in a cogeneration with other traditional sources in the same network that calls into question its transient and dynamic stability. This thesis focuses on the impact of variable wind speed generator on the stability of multimachine power grid. The wind generator, as a fluctuating source will be presented, in this thesis, as a source of disturbance that influences the dynamic stability of the network. This disturbance is linked directly to the control of the wind generator. The wind generator is based on a variable speed asynchronous machine controlled by flux orientation in the rotor or in the stator. For such a control the total torque measure is indispensable while it is difficult to measure. In this context, a new estimator of the total torque is discussed in order to prepare the control. We compare three types of wind generator; with fixed speed asynchronous generator, with variable speed asynchronous generator controlled in the stator or in the rotor. In this thesis, the linear model of multimachine power system will be obtained for the control application. The model of the wind generator will not be included in the model of the network and the wind generator will be regarded as a passive load. The main objective of this thesis is to improve the dynamic behaviour of the system by static feedback gain. The control and the stat observer will be designed by several very interesting methods including LMI method.
