Identification des Paramètres Caractéristiques d'un Phénomène Mécanique ou Thermique Régi par une Equation Différentielle ou aux Dérivées Partielles

Abstract : This report is devoted to the resolution of inverse problems. It is divided into two parts, the first one concerns mechanical phenomena and the second one thermal phenomena. Before proposing algorithms to solve the studied inverse problems, the resolution of the direct problems is beforehand analyzed in detail. The first topic developed in the mechanical part is the identification of the ten inertia parameters of a rigid body. The six equations of motion are formulated as equality between 4x4 skew-symmetrical matrices, one associated with the dynamical torque, the other with the external forces torque. The ten inertia parameters are gathered in a positive definite symmetrical matrix 4x4. This matrix intervenes linearly in the equations of motion, the consideration of its positivity is essential in the convergence of the projected conjugate gradient algorithm proposed for identifying it. The second tackled topic is the identification of the quadratic momentum of the section of a beam in flexion. The thermal part concerns the identification of the conductivity and the heat capacity per unit volume of a solid in the case of one-dimensional heat propagation. The developed methodology is the following : Construction of an algorithm A1 for solving the direct problem, Construction of an algorithm A2 for solving the inverse problem, Validation of the algorithm A2 by means of simulations obtained by algorithm A1, Identification of the thermophysical parameters of three polymers by exploiting experimental temperature fields measured by using infrared thermography.
