Développement de procédures de réglage génériques et automatisées pour modules hyperfréquences intégrant des filtres

Abstract : New needs in the field of global scale Internet by satellite have led the industry to focus on the manufacturing of thousands of satellites by setting up automatic design and calibration chains. Computer-aided post-fabrication tuning is used in this technology to adapt and improve the frequency performance of microwave filters before satellites are launched into orbit. This thesis focuses on the development of generic and automated tuning procedures for microwave filters manufactured by different technologies (additive manufacturing, cavity filters, planar filters) and more particularly in the creation of standardized procedures and models accompanying the optimization and tuning of tunable filters. The final goal is to implement and validate on practical cases these software tools in order to proceed to the application of these concepts and proven tuning procedures on robotized systems or on the dynamic control of tunable filters. In a first step, the present manuscript addresses the general context on which the entirety of this thesis work is based and focuses on the state of the art of the post automatic tuning procedures presented in the scientific literature. In a second part, studies are presented on the automatic post-tuning of volume filters of various specifications and coupling topologies. The last part presents the computer-aided tuning of a volume filter and a tunable planar filter.
