Explorations de la conception architecturale au temps de la transition énergétique
Résumé
Context The Directive of the Energy Efficiency of Buildings, approved by the European Commission in 2010, requires all new buildings to be nearly zero energy at the end of 2020 and that all new public buildings must be nearly zero energy until 2018. In 2015 the Council of Architects of Europe published a Manifesto on the role of the architect in the energy efficiency of buildings. In France, standards and regulations concerning energy and energy efficiency create a regulatory environment that is constantly in an evolution. In an international and national context permeated by the consideration of environmental issues and the considerations of practices and regulations aimed at reducing the energy consumption, the planning of urban space evolves and creates links with other disciplines . At the same time, energy issues have an impact on the process of architectural and urban planning conception and design. In addition, the concept of energy efficiency up to energy independence, at all scales (a house, a building, a neighborhood, a city, a territory), in different temporalities and contexts, rise questions of an urban and architectural point of view. Questions My initial questions are: In which way is energy and particularly energy efficiency taking place in the conception of a project? How could we model the architectural and urban conception in this context? How could we 'read' an energy efficient building? Which are the architectural elements that constitute them? How are the different architects conceiving energy efficient buildings? How is the morphology, the envelop, the orientation, the bioclimatic concepts, the passive systems, the technology, the materials, the tradition and nature being materialised during the conception of such a building ? What sense could we attribute to the terms of economy and technique after this analysis ? Could we model a 'language' that can be used in the design of these buildings by identifying the means implemented to achieve energy efficiency ? Corpus The corpus will be consisted of case studies. The project of eco district Clichy Batignolles will be considered under this prism, and other cases will be considered as well. Method By relying on cases, we will identify the influences of taking awareness of energy issues in the design process by examining mutations, interdependencies, and interpenetrations of cognitive operations specific in the architectural design of these projects.
Contexte La Directive de l’Efficacité Energétique des Bâtiments, votée par la Commission Européenne en 2010, exige que tous les nouveaux bâtiments soient proche de zéro énergie à la fin de 2020, et que tous les nouveaux bâtiments publics doivent être à peu près zéro énergie d' ici 2018. En 2015 le Conseil des Architectes d' Europe a publié un Manifeste concernant le rôle de l’architecte à l' efficacité énergétique des constructions. En France, les normes et réglementations liées au management de l’énergie et à l' efficacité énergétique créent un contexte réglementaire en constate évolution. Dans un contexte donc international et national imprégné par la prise en compte des enjeux environnementaux et la considération des réglementations visant la réduction de la consommation d' énergie, les pratiques d'aménagement de l'espace évoluent et créent des liaisons avec d'autres disciplines. Au même temps, les questions énergétiques ont un impact sur le processus de la conception architecturale et de l'aménagement urbain. En plus, le concept de l’efficacité énergétique jusqu' à l'autonomie énergétique, à toutes les échelles (d'une maison, d'un bâtiment, d'un quartier, d'une ville, d'un territoire), dans des temporalités et des contextes différentes, posent des questions d'un point de vue urbanistique et architectural. Questions Mes questions de départ sont: De quelle manière l' énergie et plus particulièrement l' efficacité énergétique prend place dans la conception d' un projet ? Comment pourrait on modéliser la conception architecturale et urbaine dans cette optique ? Comment est ce qu'on pourrait 'lire' un bâtiment énergétiquement efficace? Quels sont les éléments architecturaux qui le constituent? Comment est ce que différents architectes ont conçu des bâtiments énergétiquement efficaces ? Comment la morphologie, l'enveloppe, l'orientation, les concepts bioclimatiques, les systèmes passifs, le recours à la technologie, les matériaux, le tradition, la nature ont été matérialisés durant la conception d'un tel bâtiment ? Quel sens pourrait on donner aux termes de l' 'économie' et de la 'technique' après cette analyse? Est ce qu'on pourrait modéliser un 'langage' qui soit utilisable dans la conception de ces projets, en identifiant les moyens mis en place pour arriver à l'efficacité énergétique? Corpus Le corpus sera consisté des études de cas. Le projet de l' éco quartier Clichy Batignolles sera examiné sous cette prisme, et des autres cas vont être considérés. Méthode En s' appuyant sur des cas, nous allons identifier les influences de la prise en conscience des questions énergétiques sur le processus de conception en examinant les mutations, interdépendances, et interpénétrations des opérations cognitives spécifiques à la conception architecturale de ces projets.
