Contribution à l'étude de nouveaux concepts d'antennes planaires agiles, grand gain et très large bande : Intégration dans des systèmes rayonnants industriels de forte puissance

Abstract : This thesis is dedicated to the study of a new type of planar antenna with beam agility called ARMA (Agile Radiating Matrix Antenna) developed at XLIM. This antenna is designed by the joint arrangement of "pixels": small cavities closed by a semi-reflective surface. A rigorous approach is carried out to position this new antenna on the electromagnetic plane. New capabilities have been studied and validated such as wide bandwidth, high gain, creation of holes in the wide bandwidth and strong beamsteering by pushing the pixelization lobes outside the wide operating band.
