Intégrité de signaux sur paires torsadées haut débit dans le domaine automobile

Abstract : Today and more and more with the development of autonomous vehicles, the volume of digital data to be transmitted within an automobile requires networks supporting a high data rate. Twisted pair cables (such as Ethernet and LVDS) will be the most commonly used cables for high-speed wired communications in the future. Although high-speed networks solve the problem of data throughput, the study of their immunity is a new problem in the automotive industry. This is generally based on the measurement of the transfer impedance for low frequencies and on shielding effectiveness measurements for high frequencies. In addition, the immunity measurements of this type of cable are often limited to the calculation of the voltage and the current induced on the cable and do not involve checking the quality of the transmitted signal. In this thesis, a "virtual" method for verifying the transmission reliability of high-speed networks is proposed. The method is based on the measurement of S parameters using different means of measurement such as the reverberation chamber and the current injection probe (BCI). It is indeed shown that it is possible to predict the integrity of data transmission for a cable under any electromagnetic attack at one or more given frequencies. A stochastic CM/DM conversion application method is applied in measurement to model the impact of common mode impedance imbalance on signal integrity transmitted through a twisted pair. Numerical simulation is used to increase the accuracy of the signal integrity test method. Indeed, having a reliable model of the geometry of the cable and the precise values of the impedance CM of the various equipment to the electrical network, it is possible to verify the integrity of the signal in conditions very close to real cases. The proposed method aims to meet the requirements imposed by the Open-Alliance organization, which specify rules for the immunity of high-speed networks.
