D’une formation à l’entrepreneuriat aux prémices d’une andragogie entrepreneuriale : le cas des très petites entreprises bretonnes

Abstract : The thesis questions the training and support practices of entrepreneurs, and more particularly of the creators of very small enterprises. It aims to identify what could be the contributions of andragogy, as a specific research perspective on adult education and training, to help these entrepreneurs in this training process. From a theoretical point of view, it proposes to articulate the work in education and management, in an approach mobilizing in particular the concepts of andragogy, self-directed learning and autodidactic, training system and accompaniment. From a more empirical point of view, a practitioner (entrepreneur)/researcher process is based on a mixed methodology, favouring the diversity of sources for data collection (84 questionnaires and 27 interviews), the complementarity of observation processes (quantitative and qualitative) and the analysis tools (SPSS, Iramuteq, N'Vivo, spreadsheet). This research work allows for the emergence of a reflection on the development of a new educational path in entrepreneurship, inspired by theories of adult learning, in a socio-constructivist and humanist perspective. It thus lays the foundations for an "entrepreneurial andragogy", showing the importance of the quality of training and support for entrepreneurs, in the situations they encounter throughout the entrepreneurial process. Finally, it presents the possible structure of a training system built around the principles of such an "entrepreneurial andragogy".
