L'écosystème social territorial, émergence et caractérisation. Une modélisation par la valeur à travers l'auto-ethnographie

Abstract : This thesis is a partial contribution to ecosystem’s research. It tries to define this notion and its origins, both in terms of research and field applications. Its aim is to elaborate an ecosystem diversity using Business Models dynamics backed up by the value approach notion. Its goal is to characterize a new ecosystem model, the Territorial Social Ecosystem (TSE). This theoretical proposition is based on the notion of "common" and on its unique ecosystem value, shaped by its territory and heritage. To test this model, a qualitative study has been carried out over 4 years. This autoethnographic research was built on the creation of an association in the French department on Gironde in order to test, guide and observe the emergence of a Territorial Social Ecosystem (TSE). This multi-level approach (micro-meso-macro), quite innovative in management sciences, allowed 17 contributions, both on the conceptualization of the ecosystem model and its functioning by value, also in terms of specificities and difficulties of emergence. The major conceptual and empirical contribution is the idea of “ecosystem fusion”. This phenomenon emerges from a meeting between two ecosystems and the necessary adaptations, particularly cultural and managerial, giving way to the creation of a new, more efficient ecosystem. Our research results show the role of the territory in the ecosystem culture and the adaptation of this model to the social and solidarity economy. Finally, this work put forward some other innovative notions, such as “cultural coopetition”, “ecosystem ambidexterity” or even the participation of a heritage in the constitution of an ecosystem.
