Faire corps. La transmission des gestes techniques d'artisanat d'art sous le regard du mime corporel d'Etienne Decroux.

Abstract : The purpose of this thesis is to study bodies in professional training as an artisanal craft. It relates as much to the physical challenges of an artisanal transmission as it does to an innovative use of body mime as a research tool. Through a mimed methodology, by the use of elements characteristic of corporal mime by Étienne Decroux, this work questions the corporality of craft trades. Based on distant observations and interviews with craftspeople, supplemented by an experimental device which makes mimic the gestures of the trade, the research proposes to observe the bodies in formation in order to identify the corporal elements contained in a situation of artisanal transmission and to question the stakes. These cross-tabulations highlight the relationship that exists within arts and crafts training encountered, between the transmission of technical gestures from the profession and physical modeling of the body. Particular attention is paid to the role of the trainer, which is not limited to the transmission of know-how but extends to the formation of a body capable of integrating the group of craftsmen.
