Seeables™ et Audibles : tel un pont entre science et beauté : une nouvelle définition de la beauté

Abstract : Greater mathematical reality in a form of Seeables™ and Audibles. My work develops a new translation beyond the theoretical to enter visualizations, developing a lateral methodology for examining scientific phenomena. I focus on the bridge between the immutable greater mathematical reality and human physical reality, which Connes discusses in his conversations with Jean-­Pierre Changeux and elsewhere significantly as well. I explore “capturing” in visual and audible form certain geometric images that come spontaneously (as they did to the mind of Connes (A.C.) in this thesis; and are a resonance of the theoretical problem, for example. In doing this, I am placing context between two opposing parts of an unreconciled problem (inspiration and hard data). My research pioneers and champions a transdisciplinary action crossing technology, philosophy, mathematics, using Design of Audibles, and Visibles concepts to« lens» these important mathematical ideas to society, in essence popularizing and disseminating these scientific areas of intrigue. Arts influencing science, sciences influencing art, fluidly interact; cutting-­edge advances, data and equations remain accurate and non-­exploited, geometric visuals emerge, creating an almost “Rubin’s vase” technique to see another side of the same phenomena. My concept since its creation is to find new visual ways to map that go beyond the old hypergraphic and beyond a geometric shape already known in simple replication (cloth /fashion catwalk like Thurston / Miyake (Paris, 2010, Hopf Diagrams), and to provide a new classic in design – crossing fashion, visual objects (technological and simple abstract design), and audibles -- which will be able to show the most beautiful, most hidden, most irredeemable, areas that are known to us as highly hypothetical in the experimentalist arena or highly obtuse/unsolved in the theoretical arena. Here, from the invisible, we find unexpected beauty, and not always symmetrical or known areas of mathematics; but focus on the deeply unknown parts of the puzzle. I focus on translating abstract theoretical scientific phenomena into a form of tangibility that until now has only seen in biologically-­inspired engineering and synthetic biology: I research the question “can we search for coherency via synthetic design?”, on cosmological and quantum geometric structures. I concretize split-­second geometric visuals (for example in the case of A.C.’s butterfly concept and Prime Numbers concept) as well as data and equations of theoretical and hypothetical advances, creating visual tools in the form of« Seeables™» and Audibles. Finally, Mathematicians such as Stephan Smale recognized the importance of technology. In the case of my enterprise and original concept, a direct focus is put on the visual (for example one that flew in the mind to Connes), then to create a new mapping via synthetic design concerning cosmology and quantum structures. I will hand in a 1) dissertation and 2) presentation.
