Former des animateurs socio-culturels : le projet et le marché

Abstract : In order to engage in their activity, the youth workers must graduate, and to this end have to receive a training. The production of trainings, an activity that is meant to be educational, is gradually brought to think of itself as a market activity. The purpose of the thesis is to study its economy and to highlight its various aspects, finances, markets, actors, educational resources, regulations, balances and evolutions. The economic model of training organisations is based on four key factors: youth workers flow, which ensures a continuous demand; the use of a committed and low-cost labor; the financing of vocational training by local authorities; training courses for which investment in forms has already been achieved a long time ago. The market economy is progressively taking hold and diluting their original "institutional programme" of socialisation and transformation of the society through education.
