Aquatic habitats -including wetlands and watercourses -provide some crucial ecosystem services like carbon absorption or water filtration, 2011. ,
, However those habitats and the fauna and flora they host are greatly threatened by human population activities such as habitat degradation, water pollution and overexploitation (Dudgeon et al. 2006). The largest urban areas are the most affected by this phenomenon, as it has been documented in several European big cities, the Région Ile-de-France, the highly urbanized area of Paris and its suburbs, 90% of ponds and pools have disappeared since 1900, 1996.
, Since the beginning of the XXI th century there has been growing awareness of these habitats decline and thus, actions to protect them have been implemented. The conservation of aquatic environments is juridically framed by some texts, e.g. the Water Framework Directive (Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2000 establishing a framework for Community action in the field of water policy) [1] at the European level, and a law about water and aquatic environments (LEMA: Loi n° 2006-1772 du 30 décembre, 2006.

, Poster sur l'expérience des volontaires aux sciences participatives RÉSUMÉ Comment faciliter l'identification de l'entomofaune ? Construction, évaluation et amélioration de clés d'identification numériques, Annexe, vol.14
, Ce travail de thèse a testé diverses approches dans l'objectif de faciliter l'identification de l'entomofaune de France, en particulier de groupes d'insectes vivant dans des milieux menacés, ou ayant une importance écologique et patrimoniale notable : les coccinelles et trois ordres d'insectes aquatiques (odonates, éphémères et plécoptères), aux stades larvaires et adultes. Nous avons créé pour ces groupes sept clés d'identification numériques fiables, intuitives et accessibles à tous les publics
, nous avons testé l'utilisation de notre clé des larves d'odonates et celle de la clé ''Insectes'' du programme de sciences participatives Spipoll sur les insectes pollinisateurs. Nous avons ainsi pu mieux comprendre comment ces clés numériques sont utilisées et quels problèmes sont rencontrés par leurs utilisateurs. Des pistes d'amélioration ont été proposées pour rendre les clé d'identification plus efficaces et faciles à prendre en main. Le travail réalisé dans cette thèse a également montré que la précision des clés d'identification augmente avec l'intégration de critères écologiques en sus des caractères morpho-anatomiques. Cet ajout est particulièrement pertinent pour les jeunes larves d'insectes aquatiques, vol.3
