Direct and inverse imaging. Applications to satellite design and to forgery detection.

Abstract : This Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches report is a digest of my recent scientific research. It covers three main areas: (1) design of satellite imaging systems, (2) reproducible research, and (3) automatic detection of forgery in images. Topics (1) and (3) deal with in \emph{inverse problems}, and (2) is a transverse scientific methodology applied throughout my work. This report focuses on my ongoing research and presents (at the moment) unpublished results, and a summary of some selected recent works published in peer-reviewed journals. The document is made of three parts, each of them starting with a general introduction to the subject along with a summary of my contributions. The last chapter is devoted to my research plan and presents the projects in which I wish to involve my future PhD candidates to help them develop successfully their own scientific career.
