. Volpi, Comme décrit précédemment, la voie UPR est activée dans le cas d'un stress du RE par l'intermédiaire des protéines PERK, ATF6 et IRE1. Les protéines PERK et IRE1 entrent dans le processus d'activation de la voie pro-inflammatoire dépendant du facteur de transcription Nf-kB (Kitamura, 2011). Paradoxalement, la protéine PERK active la voie antioxydante dépendante du facteur de transcription Nrf2. Ainsi, il pourrait être intéressant de préciser les mécanismes d'action de la curcumine sur le stress du RE. En effet, il est envisageable que, en plus de sa capacité à capter directement les ROS, la curcumine soit également capable d'activer les enzymes antioxydantes (SOD, GPx?) en activant par exemple PERK qui elle-même active Nrf2. Enfin, les propriétés anti-inflammatoires de la curcumine pourraient être dues à une inactivation de la voie IRE1. Ainsi, l'effet de la curcumine sur le stress du RE pourrait expliquer, Nos résultats ont montré que les Nano-Cur améliorent l'expression de la PMP22 dans la membrane des CS. Cet effet pourrait résulter de l'augmentation de l'expression des protéines chaperonnes, 2007.
