, Cette méthode présente l'avantage d'être financièrement (relativement) peu coûteuse : la fabrication en salle blanche ne nécessite que des matériaux répandus (titane, or, hafnium) ; la miseà froid se faità l'aide d'un réfrigérateurà dilution largement utilisé dans les centres de recherche et l'électronique est relativement simple d'utilisation et peu coûteuse. En revanche, le positionnement (ou non) de la molécule dans l'intersticeétant totalement aléatoire, le processus doitêtre répété jusqu'à obtention d'un "bon"échantillon : ce qui peut prendre un temps indéterminé. Un autre point qui pose problème est la températureà laquelle est soumis l'environnement proche, et donc les molécules, durant l'électromigration : selon [110] elle pourraitêtre supérieurà 515 K. Durant ma thèse, j'ai utilisé une poudre supposée ne contenir que des T b 2 P c 3 . Or,à ma grande surprise
, Je présente ici la lecture du spin nucléaire porté par l'ion terbium T b 3+ de l'aimant
, J'ai obtenu les transistors moléculairesà spin unique en préparant leséchantillons de la même manière que pour celui présenté dans le Chapitre 6. Après lesétapes de fabrication en salle blanche, une goutte de T b 2 P c 3 en solution (datant de moins de deux semaines) aété déposée, sous hotte, sur les jonctions
, Une fois l'échantillon collé et microsoudé sur le porteéchantillon, je les ai placés dans le réfrigérateurà dilution, puis j'ai effectué la descente en température. Pour l'échantillon de la partie C.2, le réfrigérateurà dilution utiliséétait la diluette (cf. Figure 4.8), et pour celui de la partie C.3, c'était la "Sionludi, Lesélectromigrations ontété effectuéesà respectivement 4 K et 20 mK. Dans les deux cas, les mesures en transport electriques ontété réalisées aux très basses températures
, Je peux cependant proposer plusieurs hypothèses : La première est que, bien que la synthèse aété faite correctement, les T b 2 P c 3 se dénaturent lorsqu'ils sont mis en solution. Sur le conseil des chimistes, je n'ai jamais utilisé de solutions datant de plus de deux semaines, La première question qui vient est "Pourquoi mesure-t-on le signal nucléaire d'un T bP c 2 si nous n'avons déposé que des T b 2 P c 3 sur l'échantillon
, Une autre possibilité est que les T b 2 P c 3 se dénaturent durant le processus
, est-à-dire chauffer une poudre de T b 2 P c 3 et observer l'apparition, ou non, de T bP c 2 . Cette hypothèse n'est pasà exclure et c'est C.2Échantillon A Le point de dégénérescence sondé est tracé en Figure 6.3.f du Chapitre 6. Comme pour les mesures présentées dans le Chapitre 6 j'ai effectué des allers-retoursà l'aide de la bobine B X (ici de ?90 mTà +150 mTà 100 mT/s), tandis que la deuxième me permettait d'appliquer un champ perpendiculaire constant (ici B Y = 150 mT), vol.10, p.0
, La tension de grille V G est maintenue fixe et la différence de tension source-drain V SD est nulle. Pour cetéchantillon, je commence par présenter séparément les allers et les retours
, des sauts pour les allers et les retours ; plus on se rapproche de zéro, plus le saut est de grande amplitude, les deux cas, on observe qu'il y a deux gaussiennes bien séparées : l'une correspondant aux retournement du spinélectronique (sur la droite), et l'autre aux allers et retours sans saut en conductance
, alors sélectionné lesévénements correspondantsà un retournement de l'aimantation, c'est-à-dire ceux dont l'amplitude est supérieureà ?9.30. Les histogrammes c et d compilent les 6.844 allers et 6.851 retours qui rentrent dans cette catégorie, on observe une relaxation dans lesétats de plus bassesénergies pendant les allers et les retours
, ensuite extrait la température effective du spin nucléaireà l'aide d'une distride sauts, d'où deux températures assez proches. De plus, l'ordre de grandeur est consistant avec la littérature [47] et aussi avec les températures extraites sur le couple de spins nucléaires du T b 2 P c 3 (cf. partie 6.5.3). Au vu de l'étalement des pics et leur fort recouvrement
, Je trouve 329 mK pour les allers et 936 mK pour les retours. Cette deuxième température anormalement haute est probablement due au mauvais centrage de la statistique sur la zone de sauts. Cela explique les températures très différentes entre les allers et les retours. Par ailleurs, il n'y a pas de temps d'attente entre chaque aller-retour. L'ordre de grandeur de la température extraite des allers est consistant avec la littérature, Dans les graphes e et f, j'ai extrait la température effective du spin nucléaireà l'aide d'une distribution de Maxwell-Botzmann, vol.47
