, Cette spécificité implique, par exemple, qu'un défaut situé au centre ou en périphérie de l'objet peut ne pas être reconstruit avec la même finesse. Pour supprimer cette limitation, nous envisageons de déplacer le point focal de l'onde THz dans l'objet. La méthode consisterait, pour chaque angle de projection, à déplacer l'objet à la fois selon l'axe X et l'axe Z et de mesurer l'onde THz une fois l'objet traversé. , Cependant, il existe d'autres phénomènes optiques tel que la diffraction qui, s'ils sont pris en compte dans le modèle d'interaction onde-matière, peuvent améliorer la qualité des images reconstruites. Dans la section 4.3, nous avons montré qu'il est pertinent de remplacer les projections simulées à partir du modèle CAO échantillonné par les projections mesurées d'un objet ne présentant pas d'écart par rapport à ce modèle CAO. Cependant, bien que cette modification assure que les phénomènes optiques non pris en compte ne soient pas attribués à tort à l'écart entre les coefficients d'absorption de l'objet et du défaut, elle ne permet pas de prendre en compte ces phénomènes optiques dans le calcul de la matrice de Radon. Or, ne pas prendre en compte un phénomène optique dans le calcul de la matrice de Radon peut être responsable de la présence d'artefacts de reconstruction, Dans la section 2.9.2, nous avons présenté comment les méthodes par lancer de rayons modélisent les pertes par absorption, par réfraction et par réflexion subies par l'onde THz lors de sa propagation au travers d'un objet

, Une solution serait de recalculer, à chaque itération de l'algorithme de reconstruction, la matrice de Radon non plus à partir du modèle CAO échantillonné, mais directement à partir de l'image reconstruite à l'itération précédente. Une telle solution impliquerait de reconstruire, en plus de l'écart des coefficients d'absorption, l'écart des indices de réfraction entre l'objet et son défaut pour pouvoir calculer la nouvelle déviation de l'onde THz, Dans la section 3.5.6, nous avons présenté comment, avec les méthodes par lancer de rayons, la matrice de Radon peut être calculée à partir du modèle CAO échantillonné

, Pour reconstruire un objet certaines méthodes de l'état de l'art utilisent, en plus de la mesure d'atténuation, la mesure de phase de l'onde THz. Nous pensons que la mesure de phase pourrait être utilisée pour une toute nouvelle approche qui permettrait non plus de reconstruire un objet, mais de le "construire". La mesure de phase permettant de retrouver les interfaces d'un objet, nous pensons qu'il serait intéressant de se servir de cette information pour "construire" l'objet. Contrairement à une reconstruction tomographique, l'objet ne serait pas translaté. Le point focal serait placé au centre de l'objet et une mesure de phase serait réalisée pour diffé-rents angles de projections. La méthode consisterait à identifier la position des interfaces puis, après une étape d'interpolation, de situer ces positions dans une image, présente pas les interfaces de l'objet à reconstruire. Actuellement nous ne connaissons pas de méthodes permettant d'effectuer un lancer de rayon sans connaissance de ces interfaces
