Etude de la notion d’angle sous le point de vue des conceptions

Abstract : .The research we present here deals with the study of pupils different angle conceptions.The theoretical framework of this study is given by the theory of the didactical situations ,as well as the notion of conception as it has been defined by Balacheff. From a study of the birth and development of the notion of angle, we show that the angle of a slope is one of the founders aspect of the concept.We the present a study of current textbooks in order to examine the existence of this facet of the concept in teaching, and to define the spheres of practices which are attached to the notion of angle among the pupils.We pursue by a study of the angle in different geometry softwares used in classes. We show here that the microworld Cabri-geometry II makes it possible to implement in the micro-space of the classroom situations which have some characteristics of macro-space.We set up an experimental device in order to observe pupils in a situation of problem solving on Cabri-geometry II. It is a situation of communication relating to the reproduction of a pentagon in a different size, without recourse to the lengths measurement. The result of the work show that the angle as a slope is accessible to the pupils, although they first mobilize angle conceptions which are closely related to the direct characteristics of the figure (edges and sides)
