ANALYSE ET ENSEIGNEMENT DU FRANÇAIS SUR OBJECTIFS UNIVERSITAIRES EN MILIEU ACADEMIQUE TURC

Abstract : The main objective of this research is to propose a teaching guide for FLE teachers who propose or wish to set up an FOU course. The purpose of this reflection exercise is also to analyze the theories of this didactic field which is French on specific objectives, to better apprehend this new approach in construction which is French on academic objective and to explore the possibilities of translating these theories and approaches to the Turkish academic context. The purpose of this thesis is also to identify the needs of learners and to determine the main difficulties that Turkish students claim to face during their studies at university. To this end, we conducted a survey of a population of 180 learners. This questionnaire was inspired by those experienced by Franic in 2014, by Delalande in 2017 and by Zolana in 2013 with learners from their reciprocal higher education institutions. The collected data was analyzed via the SPSS for windows 26.0 and Excel program and an analysis of variance was applied to the data. As a result of our research work, the results obtained allowed us first of all to identify the needs of learners according to their training, secondly to understand the priority that must be privileged by the teacher and finally to propose to the teacher in charge of this course a certain number of tools and didactic sheet which will be able to help him in the elaboration of his course and thus the didactic methodology to set up. Our results show that the lack of mastery of techniques and university methodology, as well as the shortcomings related to the disciplinary terminology are confusing and negatively affect their academic achievements. The French courses on objective university seems necessary for a non-French and allophone public and indispensable for an audience that specializes in a very specific field such as political science, law, medicine, economy etc. Among the six stages of the construction of a French course on academic objective, the needs analysis phase represents the key step in the development of the methodology and the corpus of the course. The effectiveness and success of this course lies partly in the teacher's investment in the development of its methodology.
