Objective: To document the different serotypes HAdV circulating in Cameroon in children with acute respiratory infections

, The HAdV was typed by amplification and sequencing of partial hexon gene and a real-time PCR. Results: HAdV interspecies Co-infections were 22.2%. Six species of HAdV (Mastadenovirus A to F) were detected with B (78.5%) and C (34.8%) being the predominant strains, Methods: Nasopharyngeal swabs were collected from 219 HAdV positive children under 15 years from, vol.7, 2011.
