, 9 reported that 58% of the women who were in treatment and who presented amenorrhea or oligomenorrhea met ED criteria. In another study Andersen (2009) 10 , showed that 60% of the women in treatment for ovarian stimulation met criteria for lifetime ED (clinical or subclinical). Frezinger (2010) 11 found that 20.7% of a sample of women seeking treatment for unexplained infertility met ED criteria, Among studies in infertility clinics, vol.9, p.8, 1990.

Pasternak, Freizinger 2010 11 ) showed that women do not talk about their current or past ED to their doctors, and doctors do not ask their patients about any lifetime ED diagnosis, showed that eating disorders were significantly associated with fertility treatments. , This suggests how easily infertility treatments can be offered to patients who are still denying their ED symptoms. In addition, infertility treatments in women suffering from ED seem to be less effective than in the general population (Easter 2011) 8 and both, the pregnancy and the baby, may be experienced with some ambivalence.
