Evolutions P-T et structures associées dans l'Est du Massif Central français‎ : un exemple de l'évolution thermomécanique de la chaîne paléozoi͏̈que

Abstract : The mountain ranges are witnesses of disturbances and thermal and mechanical readjustments at the paleo-convergent limits of the plates. In reconstructing their genesis, it is necessary to combine different approaches (structural, mineralogical, thermal and geochronological, ...) in different sectors of the orogen to propose a coherent geodynamic model that integrates the maximum of constraints. The objective of this thesis is to study, from the example of the eastern edge of the French Massif Central, the thermomechanical evolution of the Varisque chain. This study highlights, from the analysis of superimposed deformation fields and P-T paths, two major types of evolution that characterize the construction of a mountain range : - the thickening history related to subduction and continental collision - the post-thickening history which describes the return to equilibrium of a previously thickened portion of lithosphere.
