Abstract : Taking into account the loss of independence of the elderly should be preferred to merely coping with it. Home-deployed technological device could provide early and accurate diagnosis, alerts, and interventions and improve patient’s management efficiency. This could also preserve economical and human resources. Deployment of such technological devices for health supposes a rigorous and global evaluation. This consists of evaluating technology consequences on individuals but also on health system and society. There are no recommendations to define evaluation rules, no specific health norms, particularly in real life use. This lack of early multidimensional thinking during technology development often leads to irrelevant or unworkable tools. The main objective of this thesis is to build multidimensional working and evaluation methodology for health technologies and more precisely for technologies aiming to prevent loss of autonomy.
