Abstract : The electricity generated by the solar radiation has become increasingly expensive due to many changes in the redemption price of photovoltaic (PV) electricity. Consequently, the return on investment becomes longer. To improve this, a monitoring system can be a solution to minimize the production losses and improve the plant performance. In this work, we focus on the realization, testing and implementation of a monitoring system for solar PV installations. Thus, these measures will lead to detection and localization of many existing defects. The objective of this thesis is to achieve an information system of controlling and monitoring of photovoltaic installations while respecting the economic constraints . An energetic analysis of a PV system has to focus on the losses in the PV generator to identify their nature . For this, a model of polycrystalline silicon cells in different types faulty operations , for example in terms of shading, has been completed. This approach has been validated by experiments on site. From this study, a methodology for detection and identification of defects is proposed and tested for the detection of the absence of shading.
