UNE ANTRHOPOLOGIE DES MANIFESTATIONS ESTHETIQUES DU MESOLITHIQUE EUROPEEN DE LA FIN DU TARDIGLACIAIRE ET DURANT LE POSTGLACIAIRE

Abstract : An attempt to analyze the different decorated productions of the Mesolithic Era which are varied and spread out in time as well as in space using different means such as: - A borrowing of the ethnographic method to carry out a systemic study and an "exhaustiveness" of aesthetic productions of the Mesolithic Era, - The use of a sociological and anthropological approach to highlight the changes of style within the various decorated productions and to compare them with prehistorical events and with the changing traits of the other fields of Mesolithic culture. P. Francastel wrote:"Art has always been regarded as an ornament, as an accessory instead of being analyzed and questioned as a fundamental function..."
