Une méthode d'évaluation géolocalisée de l'insertion des projets routiers dans les territoires et de choix de variantes

Abstract : Based on the advanced technique and science in the domains of the geographic information and the social and environmental indicators, the objective of this thesis is to contribute to the development of a tool for helping the road variants identification and evaluation. The role of the construction design office in the road projects driving, its needs for a tool development and the pre-existent evaluation methods are presented at first. Then we study the automation possibilities for treatment the geographical data of the project study area, allowing to highlight the most convenient zones for road section integration (based on the ArcGIS software functions). To improve and go deeper in the variants evaluation and to help in the route selection, new indicators relative to global and local effects of the road sections, are proposed. They concern the global environmental impacts from life cycle analysis type, the fragmentation of ecosystems, the safety of transport, the built heritage, the noise pollution, the co-visibility and the radiance. Their applicability and their relevance are tested in road variant's comparison of a real project. To answer to the needs of the coordinating process, an interactive method of indicators combination is proposed. Finally, the potentialities of development of these functions in the form of an operational tool for the design office, are discussed.
