Abstract : We here investigate the modeling of fluid-structure interactions. The fluid is viscous and inscompressible and the structure is subject to an imposed deformation. After a survey of the different boundary methods, we introduce a new immersed boundary approach : the IPC method (Image Point Correction). Merging Ghost Cell and Penalty methods, this approach is second order and validated through several canonical tests. Then we apply it on the 2D and 3D simulation of fish like swimming after the reconstruction of the swimmer thanks to the skeleton approach.
