CONTRIBUTION A LA MODELISATION DE LA MACHINE ASYNCHRONE EN PRESENCE DE DEFAUTS ROTORIQUES

Abstract : This work of PhD thesis is a contribution to the modeling of the squirrel cage induction machines in presence of rotor faults. A preliminary study makes it possible to point out the formulations of the various magnetomotive forces, of the air-gap permeance in the case of rectangular slots, as well as air-gap flux density, and to deduce their various harmonic contents with a high precision. This study also makes it possible to quantify the rotor faults influence on the harmonics of the stator currents, and to present some diagnosis approaches using the failure signature in the currents, the power and the electromagnetic couple. The contribution of this work concerns mainly three points: ƒ An original, analytical and parametric modeling of the air-gap permeance in the case of a doubly slotted air-gap and taking into account the actual geometry of the slots. ƒ The calculation of the mutual inductances and their derivatives, and their numerical handling, allowing a very satisfactory precision and a very good computing time to precision ratio. ƒ The development and implementation of a software dedicated to the modeling of the induction machines in presence of defaults. This software (SIMUMAS) integrates the two above points, and is based on an algorithm using a variable topology strategy which allows an automatic adjustment of the dimension of the machine differential equations system. The simulation results obtained with this software have been helpful to study the faults signature in the main quantities such as the stator currents, the stator current vector module as well as the air-gap flux density. Also, these simulation results have been in a good concordance with the experimental results.
