À l'issue de son post-doc avec moi, à l'été 2008, il est allé pour un deuxième post-doc chez Itai Einav à Sydney. Ensemble, nous avons travaillé sur deux sujets principaux. Il s'agissait d'une part d'un travail analytique sur la structure des mousses liquides entre deux plaques [34] (paragraphe 8.2) et sur leur dilatance statique [33] (paragraphe 8.1). D'autre part, nous avons élaboré une nouvelle simulation sur des milieux granulaires mous et immergés, voir la section 7.2, qui a fourni des résultats intéressants sur le temps propre de tels systèmes et leur traduction à l'échelle macroscopique, sur la viscosité et la dilatance dynamique de ces systèmes et sur un scénario local typique, pp.29-32, 2007. ,
