De-recherche-en-astronomie-au-côté-de, Nikos) Prantzos qui dirigeait alors mon stage de DEA 4 Un jour, alors que nous marchions vers le restaurant de l'observatoire de Paris, Nikos me t remarquer qu'il pensait avoir proposé un stage intéressant car il me permettait de toucher du doigt quelques concepts très importants, comme la fonction de masse initiale, ou encore le taux de formation stellaire et son histoire : le résumé du stage rappelait d'ailleurs à quel point ceci constituait la grande inconnue pour l'évolution des galaxies. Manifestement, il n'avait pas tort : je me suis attaqué à plusieurs sujets au cours de la dizaine d'années qui ont suivi

Je-dois-remercier-ensuite-barry-madore-avec-qui-j-'ai-eu-la, chance de pouvoir eectuer un post-doc au sein de l'équipe GALEX quand des données UV arrivaient et nous apportaient de nouvelles contraintes sur la distribution du SFR dans les galaxies proches. Non seulement, j'ai eu en main des données très instructives, mais j'ai aussi gagné un interlocuteur hors pair
