Diagnostic en place et prévision de l'évolution d'un système d'assainissement non collectif

Abstract : Non-collective cleansing systems regain a most important development because of their technical and economic interests. To date, the managers of these systems seek to better understand their functioning and try to improve theirs durability, reliability and optimization based on scientific recommendations. In this context, the main objective of this study is to improve a method of diagnosis that allow to assess the functioning of Non Collective Cleansing systems by developing new in situ tools based on testing of specially designed for this kind of systems. In this work, a new method has been developed for in-situ evaluation of saturated hydraulic conductivity of granular soils employed in Non collective Cleansing. This method is based on assessment models and on tools for in-situ testing that provide the input parameters of these models. This method is then validated by both laboratory and in situ experimentations. In addition, a diagnosis method has been developed for these systems employing quick and non-destructive testing tools. This method has been validated on real and experimental sites. This method constitute a real tool for manager of these systems because it provides access to information about the location of the soil filter, his geometry (surface, layers and his thickness...), the characteristics of soils used (grain size, dry density) and his general state in relation with the clogging and the conditions for developing biomass. In the future, this method will track the evolution of these systems and provide recommendations on materials used and their implementation.
