Les exciton-polarisations dans les microcavités planaires

Abstract : This thesis is devoted to the properties of exciton-polaritons, mixed particles formed from the light and matter in semiconductor microcavities in the strong coupling regime. First, I analyze the possibility of Bose condensation of exciton-polaritons at room temperature in GaN microcavities with Boltzmann equations semi-classical. And polarization effects in the regime of parametric oscillator are studied with the Boltzmann equation with semiclassical pseudospin. The second part of the thesis is devoted to methods and properties of the condensates of exciton-polaritons macrooccupés. Polarization, dispersion of excitations, propagation, localization and superfluidity are described with the equation of Gross-Pitaevskii
