Métrologie et méthode d'identification, pour la prise en compte des déformations élastiques des machines à structure parallèle

Abstract : The works presented in this paper deal with elastodynamic behaviour of parallel kinematics machines. We hope to enable better control of elastic deformations of these machines and thus contribute to the development of parallel architectures for machining. The aim is to propose a deformation model of the kinematics chain so that they could be compensated by the numerical control. This model must be accurate and rapid in calculation so as not to penalize the bandwidth of the NC. To this end we propose to use a spring-mass model identified in situ during large displacements of the machine. To do this, a specific measurement system has been developed (accelerometers + computed vision) and enables the measurement of specific points of the kinematics chain displacement with an uncertainty inferior to 15 μm (2 σ) for 300 mm. Finally, the method is applied to three machines, one of which is a prototype of parallel kinematics machine.
