Architecture 3D et microclimat lumineux de l'arbre. Comparaison de cultivars de pommier soumis à des manipulations de conduite

Abstract : The effect of two contrasting methods of conduct (vs. Central Leader. Driving Centrifugal) was studied on three apple cultivars architecturally distinct 'Scarletspur Delicious', 'Golden Delicious' and 'Granny Smith'. Trees are digitized using a 3D electromagnetic tool to scale shoots twice during the first year and before the second harvest year. The shoots are described and classified according to their length and their typology (vs. fruiting. Vegetative). The timber carrier is also described in the second year focusing on the strategy of size (carved wooden carrier vs. Uncut). Virtual experiments are carried out through the reconstruction of the foliage, creating 3D models and simulation of light interception at the tree-level, types of shoots and individual shoots. A simplified model for the estimation of light interception by isolated trees is proposed, using parameters of canopy structure. Demographics and the sequence of shoots are mainly affected by cultivar, with a weak influence of driving style. A similar trend is observed across the tree for the parameters of canopy structure and light. The spatial distribution of shoots and leaf area density differ depending on driving style. 'Scarletspur Delicious' tree is a reduced-form and compact compared to other two cultivars of trees that have more open and larger. The effect of control systems results in a greater proportion of vegetative shoots long and repeated (R-LVS) on trees in Central Leader. The latter exhibit a heterogeneous distribution of leaf area and light interception of two kinds of shoots caused by R-LVS which increase the mutual shading of the shoots. These differences vary with cultivars and are more trenches at Granny Smith. The parameters studied show that the control system could have a direct impact on development and spatial positioning of shoots. This significantly affects flowering and production, although growth and structure of the tree depends mainly on cultivar
