Modélisation, optimisation et contrôle d'un processus d'épandage pour les applications agricoles

Abstract : Due to inadequate strategy, application of mineral fertilizers by centrifugal process creates defects in fertilization. To determine the sequences set to apply to the input of distributors that can limit the distribution of errors, we propose several methods based on constrained optimization. First, we model the spatial distribution of fertilizer in plots and formalize an optimization problem with constraints in the field. To solve it, we develop a sliding window approach and are implementing an algorithm associated with the augmented Lagrangian method LBFGS. By applying two different techniques based on these principles, we can reduce defects and have the edge over 80% of the area properly fertilized. Another strategy using the resolution of an optimal control problem is also developed and provides encouraging initial results
