Etude de l'évolution de l'occupation et de l'utilisation du sol dans le delta de Mejerda par télédétection et SIG

Abstract : This study aims to improve thematic knowledge on the evolution of land occupation and use, and landscape structures. Research and analysis done on this subject form data base needed for the various users. They are interesting to focus on environmental issues in general. The main objective of this study is to develop a detailed mapping of the dynamics of land occupation and use in the delta Mejerda. We tried to go back to the mid-twentieth century, because most changes in the morphology of the delta landscape mingled with that of its water development. In addition, this area has undergone several constraints of different imposing more and more pressures such as: - An intense suburbanization that transforms the natural landscape and farmland (habitat, industrial areas, roads ...). - The development (industrial areas, roads ...) and sometimes inadequate interventions in areas at risk of flooding and stagnant water (Garaâ). - A Transformation of the morphology of the land at the coast and including the lagoons of El Ghar Melh these interventions result in an alteration of the physical environment (erosion and fattening). Today, the extension of analytical methods, such as integrated geographic information systems (GIS), and the benefits of aerospace remote sensing allow us to further studies in accessing information and multi-scalar multi - temporal formerly inaccessible. The problems raised by the occupation and land use have led us to follow the work of CORGNE S., (2004) and to develop a reproducible method that allows for a short term prediction of the winter cover soil in intensive agricultural context (the case of irrigated Kalaât Landalous). An approximate approach based on an expert model that uses the rule of evidence, Dempster-Shafer, was chosen. Predictions of the winter cover soil were made for the period 2009-2013 using two assumptions: "Soils covered" and "bare little covered".
