Caractérisation du comportement non linéaire en dynamique du véhicule

Abstract : Conceiving active security systems requires a good knowledge of the vehicule behaviour. This can be made by a rigorious modelling to obtain a model of which the representativeness is close to the real vehicle. To date, it exist several models resulting from the individual linearization of each component of the vehicle for a range of defined excitation as the linear single track model. However, these models are very limited in terms of validity because for the great solicitations, the vehicle is subjected to strong side accelerations which cause a nonlinear behaviour of the tires, this makes these models obsolete. In order to obtain representative models in the nonlinear domain, the most approach is to consider the totality of the tire model in the vehicle model (use Pacejka formula). This procedure leads to a complexes nonlinear model of which the analytical resolution is quasi-impossible. In order to circumvent the use of the formula of Pacejka we propose to use a polynomial approximation of this formula combined with advanced nonlinear methods. Our work consists in analyzing the non linearities caused by the tires. Three methods were adopted in the aim to study the impact of the non linearities on the system responses in the temporal and frequential domain, determining analytically the frequency response functions and analysing the transitory harmonic responses of the vehicle when using a sinewave excitations. To resulting from our research task, we ended to innovating and very conclusive performances.
