La RMN du carbone-13, outil d'analyse . Etude phytochimique de Clinipodium ascendens, Bupleurum fruticosum et Santolina corsica

Abstract : This study has two objectives, firstly, to develop an analytical method for complex natural mixtures based on using 13C NMR spectroscopy without preliminary isolation of components. On the other hand, it contribute to the valuation of the biomass considered as a source of natural products with strong added value, especially in the domain of Plant Perfume Aromatic and Medicine in Corsica by characterising the essential oil, describing a possible chemical variability and by testing their biological activity We carried out a study of the influence of hydrogen bonding effect on 13C NMR chemical shift of the molecule terpenic like linalol in the melanges binaries with the oxygenated compounds. We find the different behaviour of the hydrogen bonding cause with the phenolic compound and the other oxygenated compound. Otherwise, our results also suggested the presents of other bond intermolecular like van del wals. The analysis of the chemical composition of the essential oil of three plant insulaire grow wild, Clinopodium ascendens of Maderia Island, Bupleurum fruticosum and Santolina corsica of Corsica, with the method developed in our laboratory based on the computer aided analysis of the 13C NMR spectrum of the essential oil, on combination of GC-MS and GC with retention index. - The essential oil of Clinopodium ascendens of Maderia Island was dominated by C3 oxygenated p-menthane derivatives: cis-isopulegone(75.2%), pulegone(6.9%), neoiso-isopulegol (6.0%) and trans-isopulegone (4.5%). - As part of our on-going work on the characterization of aromatic plants inslaris, through the composition of their essential oil, we got interested by Bupleurum fruticosum,growing wild in Corsica. The seasonal variation, the different aerial part, the intraspecific variability of the essential oil; even though the essential oil extract by microwave were studied, we showed that the homogeneity of -phellandrene like the content majorities. - The chemical composition of Santolina Corsica essential oil was dominated by monoterpene hydrocarbons myrcene(34.6%), santolina triene (13.5%), -phellandrene(11.7%). Beside the main composition, we noted the occurrence of irregular mono and sesquiterpenes. Antibacterial activity was tested against six bacteria strains. Lyratol was identified as main responsive of the antibacterial activity.
