Etude des procédés d'élaboration et caractérisation des revêtements de bronze et de ses composites préparés par projection à froid

Abstract : In this study, the cold spray technology has been used to fabricate bronze and its composite coatings in order to obtain coatings with good frictional performance. The research carried out in this study involves several fields: -Elaboration, selection and post-processing of powder of bronze and quasicrystals; -Elaboration of bronze and its composites coatings; -Analysis of frictional performance of coatings obtained; -Comparison of characteristics and frictional behaviours between the coatings produced by cold-spray and conventional thermal spraying. The results show that the cold spray can be a reliable technology for fabricating bronze based composite coatings. The phase transformation and oxidation that are associated with the coatings produced by other conventional thermal spraying techniques can be avoided or alleviated effectively by using the cold spray technique. The composite coating has a better tribological property compared to pure bronze coatings. Frictional performances of cold sprayed coatings produced are comparable to those of conventional thermal sprayed coatings.
