Concept de l'autisme bleulérien dans la logique freudienne de l'aliénation et de la séparation

Abstract : "Autism is more or less the same thing Freud called auto-eroticism" - this is what Paul Eugen Bleuler writes in his fundamental work "Dementia praecox or the group of schizophrenias". However, if we take a closer look at other definitions of autism, offered by Bleuler, works, on which he relied in his proceedings, as well as Sigmund Freud's texts, he wrote, to answer Paul Eugen Bleuler, we can find that this remark about substituting auto-eroticism with autism, avoiding any mention of sexuality, is far from exhaustive. Bleuler's thesis, that "we call autism the kind of detachment from reality, which combines with a relative or absolute predominance of inner life", opens up interesting clinical perspectives. Thus Bleuler's autism corresponds not to the primary, but secondary narcissism. However, such an answer does not satisfy nor Sigmund Freud, nor Jacques Lacan, both of whom are attempting to improve psychoanalytical conceptualization of psychoses. Even though Lacan has accepted several Freudian concepts, which have evolved from Freud's attempts to develop the concept of autism in the light of libido theory (such as pleasure principle/ reality principle, psychic reality or the loss of reality in neurosis and psychosis ), he often transforms them in quite a subversive form. Discussing and revising the concept of primary narcissism, which appeared in the discussion of Bleuler's autism, Lacan develops the mirror stage and comes to the conceptualization of attachment / separation, as well as to the question of subject's relationship to the Other. Similarly, he points out the direction that leads to a real, imaginary and symbolic disposition in Borromean knot theory, which, to our minds, could correspond to the autistic state
