In order to study how one become little by little girl in Anjou's countries between 1920 and 1950, I start from the testimonies on their young years of hundred womens born in rural commune between 1905 and 1935. I wished for research the indications of "girlization" influenced by the contemporary mutations of feminine gender. To be recognized as girl presuppose to answer to precise and changing criterions of appareance and behaviour. Social and cultural construction the gender is learned. This learning implies to acquire the normative knowledges constituting the gender' codex and to experimente the performative attitudes. At the crossing of biographic time of sexual identity's crystalization and the historic time of feminine gender's transformations during the first part of 20th century, the study from oral sources of girls belong to popular rural background permit to shed light on the complex mechanisms of new norm's integration.
