Fatigue biaxiale à grand nombre de cycles : étude expérimentale et modèle d'endommagement à deux échelles probabiliste

Abstract : Industrial structures are subjected to complex loadings that can sometimes be biaxial. To experimentally study the effects of biaxiality on the lifetime, high cycle biaxial fatigue tests are carried out on austenitic stainless steel 304L CLI, and titanium alloy mategials. A geometry of cross specimen, refined in its center, has been designed for this study. More than twenty load controlled tests were conducted at room temperature with varions types of loadings. Sophisticated optical devices are used, and thanks to image correlation, they allow to accurately characterize plastic strains and strain amplitudes. To take into account the experimental dispersion of the fatigue limit that is observed on metallic materials, the tvvo scale damage model has been made in a probabilistic version on the new post-processor DAMAGE_2009. Finally, the function test of the model was improved by adding a term of Drucker-Prager to better transcribe the mean stress effect on lifetime.
