S'approprier le désert. Agriculture mondialisée et dynamiques socio-environnementales sur le piémont côtier du Pérou. Le cas des oasis de Viru et d'Ica-Villacuri

Abstract : Since the 1990s, Peruvian agriculture is marked by a policy of liberalization of economical and land markets. One of the main effect is the establishment of agro-industrial business within the territory of Peru. On the desert coast, we can access it with the expansion of irrigated areas and with a deep transformation of rural areas. In witch conditions are businesses located and what kind of relationships are they establishing today with all actors in rural areas? What are the socials and environmental effects on these locations ? Through this example, This thesis addresses the issues of globalized agriculture in a Peru in constant change and more broadly in a "South" country.
