Contribution aux méthodes de synthèse de correcteurs d'ordres réduits sous contraintes de robustesse et aux méthodes de réduction de modèles pour la synthèse robuste en boucle fermée

Abstract : LTI systems are subject to physical and technological constraints. We have shown that these constraints limit the achievable bandwidth in closed loop. Consequently, it is sufficient to model and analyze these systems on a limited frequency band, and not on all frequencies, and that low order controllers may give full satisfaction. In this thesis, we are interested to the design of reduced fixed-order controller with robustness constraints, and to the model reduction for such systems. The proposed method consists in determining a fixed structure controller that optimizes the rejection of a step load disturbance, with respect to robustness constraints, i.e. minimum module margin, minimum phase margin and maximum amplification of measurement noise. Based on a base of reduced-order generic models, the method yields a semi-analytical mixed H2/H-infinity optimization formulation with objective function and inequality constraints in terms of controller gains. When the system to be controlled is of high order, to obtain the parameters of generic models, we propose a model reduction method with the guarantee of closed-loop robustness margins. If the system model is not available, we present an experimental identification method by the relay feedback relied on the base of generic models. In order to make the proposed approach more accessible to industrial use, our developments have been incorporated into software tools to help the control system design.
