Optimisation de dispositifs électromagnétiques dans un contexte d'analyse par la méthode des éléments finis

Abstract : In this work, we propose solutions to the difficulties found in the optimization of electromagnetic devices analyzed by numerical methods, mainly the Finite Elément Method. Within thèse difficulties, there is the great diversity of the problems, the search of a global solution, the data exchange between the simulation tool and the optimization tool and the expensive computation time to reach a solution. We start with a description of the methods used in the resolution of optimization problems, in wich we highlight their particularities and their main characteristics. After this description, we présent the architecture of an optimization tool, based on the concepts of the Object Oriented Programming. In the implementation of this architecture, we consider the difficulties from the numerical simulation problems and we propose a new optimization approach based on the construction of a Response Surface using the Diffuse Elément Method and Expérimental Design Method. To validate this new approach, we présent three différent applications in electrical engineering: the optimization of a switched reluctance motor, the optimization of an electromagnetic contactor and the resolution of problem 25 of TEAM Workshop.
