Abstract : Electronic publishing is a pattern that has its roots in traditional publishing on paper and inspired by new communication technologies as a tool for production and dissemination. Electronic publishing has followed the evolution, we can better exploit the capabilities of the Internet, increase the effectiveness of hyperlinks and interactivity as improve the production of a commercial publisher in a university library. Innovation in this sense is a basic concept, the founder in this area, it relates to the publishers that make new products and offer value added services. But also the library as a mediator of information via new technologies. The current context of publishing is changing, the changes are enormous and the impact of ICT is increasingly important. New technologies are effectively involved in the reconfiguration of editorial practices. The classic chain based editing the paper is changing see disappear into drawers disciplines like medicine, physics or mathematics.
