Abstract : The problematic of urban enviromnent improvement lead to take into account microclimatic phenomena in urban development. This work attempts to develop a model, which allows the analysis of the relations between urban form and thermal phenomena. This model permits the analysis of the impact of urban form on thermal radiative exchanges. It is based on physical expressions, which attempt to conciliate spatial representativeness and interpretation faithfulness of physical phenomena. The impact is defined as thermal transformation led by building environment changes, which are due to urbanization. Some illustrations of the different kind of analysis and interpretations that the model leads to are presented. The faithfulness of the physical phenomena interpretations are discussed. Some perspectives are proposed about the development of the model for better physical and perceptive impact studies. This work attempts to introduce the questions of the use and interpretation of physical figures in the definition of the climatic enviromnent.
