MODELING OF NON STATIONARY, NONLINEAR TIME SERIES Application to the definition of trends on mean, variability and extremes of air temperatures in Europe

Abstract : In this thesis, we consider several statistical issues related to global warming. The work is focused on understanding and modeling the recent evolutions of temperature characteristics like mean, variance, range, and links between these quantities. Moreover, we pursued two specific objectives related to significant risks: to provide a methodology to calculate the levels back in nonstationary situation (economic risks, health and industry) and produce a realistic simulation model to calculate some of the risks of complex definition . The context is that of climate change, including of course metamathematical aspects .
