Journaux intimes de la folie : étude différentielle de l'écriture du sujet dans l'hystérie et la schizophrénie à partir des écrits de Mary Barnes et de Vaslav Nijinski

Abstract : This thesis explores the topology of the unconscious, in order to determine the process of the subject's writing, based upon the work of Jacques Lacan about the knotting of the registries real, symbolic and imaginary. The author presents a differential analysis, about Mary Barnes's autobiography and Nijinsky's diary. Considering that in M. Barnes's Hysteria the symptom, lived like an initiatic journey by the subject, firmly maintains the three registries, and that in V. Nijinsky's schizophrenia there is a knotting of the sinthomatic kind as described by J. Lacan in Le séminaire XXIII, which is destroyed by the end of the artist's dance, the writing, as well in neurosis as in psychosis, can be seen as the effects of the retrograde movement imposed by the desire itself. This work intends to continue the lacanian conception of the topology in the psychoses
