La notion de mise en scène dans les pièces de théâtre d'Elfriede Jelinek

Abstract : The omnipresent and flooding strength of Jelinek‘s language is often a central key to the interpretation of her dramatic work, yet theater appears out of the confrontation of various channels. It becomes clear with a chronological lecture from Elfride Jelinek's theaterplays that the radicalization of her theatrical aesthetics corresponds to one of her aim of deconstruction, from the critic of the theater world to the critic of the mass media world. The aim of this research was to consider the theater play neither only as a text nor as a representation, but a an art project, as a process that enhances various phases, the production of an immanent author's text and of a message and then the possible stage interpretations that arises from this first building material. This analysis intertwines various disciplins, literature and theater studies (as reciprocal reflections of the text und its stagings), but also media philosophy, because medias are understood as a structuring basis of our postmodern society. Choosing a transdisciplinary analysis, that is to say a postmodernistic method, shall embrace Elfriede Jelinek's postmodernistic working methods.
